Common Questions About Waste Services in Central Scotland
What areas do you cover for skip hire?
We deliver skips across all FK postcodes in Central Scotland, including Falkirk, Bonnybridge, Stirling, Cumbernauld, Larbert and Grangemouth. If you are not sure if we cover your area, call us on 07880 741998.
Do I need a skip permit in Central Scotland?
If your skip is placed on a public road or pavement, you will need a skip permit from your local council. Skips placed on your own private land or driveway do not require a permit. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain any necessary permits before delivery. Visit our roadside permits page for more information.
What waste types do you accept in a skip?
Our general waste skips accept most household, garden and light construction waste. We also offer soil and hardcore skips for heavy materials like earth, rubble and concrete. Certain items such as asbestos, chemicals, paint, gas bottles and tyres are not accepted. See our restricted items page for the full list.
How quickly can you deliver a skip?
We offer same-day and next-day delivery where we can, and otherwise deliver on the date we agree with you. For urgent jobs call us before 11am and we will do our best to get your skip out the same day. Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday.
What is the cheapest way to get rid of waste in Central Scotland?
For small amounts of waste, our waste uplift service is often the most affordable option. For larger projects, skip hire is typically the best value. We can advise on the most cost-effective solution for your specific job.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes, Quick Skips Falkirk is a SEPA registered waste carrier, fully insured and licensed to collect and dispose of waste in Scotland. We provide a Waste Transfer Note with every collection as proof of legal disposal.
Can I book a same day waste collection?
Yes, we offer same day and next day waste collection across Central Scotland for our waste uplift, house clearance and item collection services, subject to availability. Call us directly for urgent bookings.
How do I pay? Can I use Klarna?
We quote first — nothing is paid on the website up front. Once you have your price you can pay it online by card, or spread it with Klarna Pay in 3 (interest-free) or Pay in 30 days, through our secure Stripe checkout. Bank transfer or card over the phone are fine too.
