Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your use of services provided by Quick Skips Falkirk. By booking a skip or using any of our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Hire Period

The standard hire period is 5 days from the date of delivery. If the skip becomes full before the end of this period, it may be collected earlier either at the customer's request or if we determine that it has reached a level load and cannot safely accommodate additional waste. Extended hire periods (daily or weekly) can be arranged and will incur additional charges.

2. Permitted Waste

You are responsible for ensuring only permitted waste is placed in the skip. Prohibited items include asbestos, tyres, batteries, gas cylinders, fridges, freezers, electrical items, liquids, chemicals, and hazardous waste. Additional charges will apply if prohibited items are found.

Mattresses: A maximum of one (1) mattress is permitted per skip. If more than one mattress is found in a skip, an additional surcharge will be applied and the customer will be invoiced accordingly.

3. Loading

All skips must be filled to a level load. If excess waste is placed in the skip, additional charges may apply. If the customer is unable to reduce the load to a safe level or declines to pay any applicable overfilling fees, we reserve the right to remove the excess waste as necessary to ensure the skip is compliant before collection.

4. Permits

If the skip is to be placed on a public highway or road, a road permit is required from the local council. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain the necessary permit before the skip is delivered. Quick Skips Falkirk does not arrange permits on the customer's behalf. By telling us the skip will go on the road when requesting a quote, the customer confirms they understand and accept full responsibility for obtaining the required permit. Quick Skips Falkirk is not liable for any fines, penalties, or enforcement action resulting from an unpermitted skip on a public road.

5. Payment

Prices are confirmed by quote before any work is booked. Payment terms are agreed with you when you accept your quote.

6. Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

7. Liability

Quick Skips Falkirk accepts no liability for any damage caused to private property during skip delivery or collection where adequate access has not been provided. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery area is suitable and accessible.
